I had lunch at Dispensa Emilia at 3pm, an unusual time to have lunch, but Dispensa Emilia was open and available for me. I really appreciated the Dispensa salad, the crispy bacon, the hot tigelle and the parmesan flakes. Furthermore, I noticed that the staff is always friendly and that the prices are honest.
La Dispensa Emilia is a restaurant that offers the warmth and taste of Emilian tradition in a welcoming environment and with quick service that is attentive to your needs. It offers freshly cooked tigelle with different fillings, first courses and salads, all cooked for you on the spot. Furthermore, the staff is very kind and professional.
The potatoes are not good, the gnocco is worse, and the raw meat is often cut like a steak.

Appetizing fillings and equally appetizing first courses, certainly not for intimate or particular dinners, but as a meeting place with friends, or a break.
And in any case for the accustomed to Modena DOC, they are called Crescentine, the tigelle are the mold where they were once cooked... and it was in cast iron 😇
Knowing this restaurant in Carpi was fantastic, quiet, friendly staff but above all delicious food, it's a shame that there is only one in Rome. Highly recommended
